Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) is a state policy financing program available to developers and property owners to access capital to make energy efficient upgrades by providing up to 100% financing that is 50% less expensive than mezzanine debt for gut rehabs and new-construction projects. Allowing developers and property owners the benefit from the cost savings of energy-efficient improvements while also financing with low-cost capital that attaches to the property as a special assessment.
